Barons Quay: Yet Another Reason To Visit Northwich

Something big is coming soon to Northwich. Barons Quay is a multi-million pound development project that will put this Cheshire town at the forefront of the regional economy. This huge retail and entertainment centre is being built on the banks of River Weaver, just north of the town centre, and is set to expand the current shopping, leisure, and entertainment options in the area.

Once completed, Barons Quay will feature a variety of high-street stores, restaurants and a 5-screen cinema. As part of the project, several new homes will also be built in the area. Barons Quay will be open to the public by the end of 2016 and will be fully completed in 2017.

Overall, this project will make Northwich a more attractive and convenient place to live in and visit, as approximately 26 acres of brownfield land will be turned into a modern and pleasant urban area. Barons Quay will also revitalise the local economy, creating approximately 1,600 jobs and significantly improving Northwich's overall regional ranking. Thanks to its convenient location within easy reach of Manchester, Chester, and Warrington, Barons Quay will boost the local economy by attracting shoppers and visitors from all over Cheshire and beyond. Moreover, this development will offer residents plenty of choices when it comes to shopping, eating out, and enjoying their free time, and will improve the shortage of parking spaces in the town centre thanks to the creation of more than 900 free car park spaces.
